Brielle Sarkisian is based in Binghamton, NY and Brackney, PA. She received her BFA in Printmaking from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2023. Her work spans over multiple disciplines, including various methods of printmaking, papermaking, drawing, and painting. Currently, her creative process delves into psychoanalytic methods that reveal vulnerable topics conveyed through rabbit personas. In her practice she explores her internal emotions with surrealistic imagery and makes ambiguous work that can also resonate with the personal experiences of her audience. She has exhibited locally, nationally, and internationally in group shows and has had one solo exhibition.
Brielle is one of eight resident artists in the 2025-2026 cohort for the Broome County Arts Council, and will be in residency from November 1st – December 6th, 2025, with an in-studio exhibiton on December 5th, 2025 during the Downtown Binghamton First Friday Art Walk.
Current exhibitions include the 13th Annual National Exhibition, Interwoven Aspects: Innovation and Tradition in Paper Art at the Morgan Conservatory in Cleveland, OH, on view from March 7th – April 29th, 2025.
Recent exhibitions include group shows, Expectations of Growth at the Morgan Conservatory in Cleveland, OH, and Works on/ with/ about Paper at AlterWork Studios in Astoria, NY.
Relevant past exhibitions include the 12th Annual National Juried Exhibition, New Terrain, at the Morgan Conservatory in Cleveland, OH, where she earned a Morgan Award of Merit for her piece, Grounded; her solo show, Sentiment in Sediment, at Slanted Art Cooperative Gallery in Montrose, PA; and her Printmaking BFA thesis exhibition Down the Rabbit Hole at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz.
